The Personal Information collected will be held in strict confidence and will be processed by KPMG China, and/or their authorized agents (including but not limited to PageUp People Pte Ltd.) for the sole purpose of possible recruitment, recruitment marketing, onboarding, communication and survey.
For the purposes of providing possible recruitment, recruitment marketing, onboarding, communication and survey to you and to the extent permitted by the applicable laws and regulations, we may store, process and transfer your Personal Information outside Mainland China, Hong Kong, and/or Macau to our agents situated in, including but not limited to, Singapore, United Kingdom, United States and Australia, where there may not be in place personal information protection laws which are substantially similar to, or serve the same purposes as, the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486 of the laws of Hong Kong), Cybersecurity Law of the People's Republic of China, Personal Information Protection Law, Information Security Technology - Personal Information Security Specification (GB/T 35273 -2017) and Personal Data Protection Act (Act 8/2005 of Macao Special Administrative Region). That means your Personal Information may not be protected by laws to the same or similar level as in Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, and/or Macau SAR.
We will implement and procure the authorized agents to implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the Personal Information against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction, damage, alteration or disclosure.
We will not retain or store your Personal Information longer than is necessary for the fulfilment of the purposes as herein mentioned. You have the right under the applicable laws to request access to, correction of as well as deletion of your Personal Information in relation to your application.
